Safety & Health Expo provides easy access to the latest innovations and best practiceWith the most extensive exhibition and educational programme in the event’s history, the 16,388* people who visited Safety & Health Expo when it took place from 11-13 May 2010 had their thirst for knowledge and their hunger for innovation satisfied. Hosted at the NEC Birmingham, the event featured around 300 leading suppliers exhibiting their latest products and services, 40 hours of free educational content and a wide variety of experiential features to once again confirm its position as Europe’s largest annual event for the health and safety industry. “The feedback we’ve received from exhibitors and visitors this year has surpassed expectations,” said Adrian Newton, Portfolio Director – Safety and Building Management. “With our show partners, RoSPA, BSIF and IOSH, we work hard to provide an event that facilitates business within the health and safety market and it’s fantastic to hear exhibitors talk of the fact that they’ve been speaking to people with real projects and money to spend.” “Often with standing room only, features including the SHP Legal Arena and the Product & Innovation Hub provided visitors with access to the learning and innovations that they need. Our challenge is now to build upon this success for an even greater event in 2011.” Visitors at Safety & Health Expo were able to explore the latest products, services and innovations of leading brands including Sperian, ARCO, Totectors, 3M, Draeger, Polyco, JSP, Scott Health & Safety and Safety Media. The success of the event was evident with nearly 60% of the 2011 floor plan booked before the show closed. The feedback from Safety & Health Expo clearly demonstrates the event’s success. “Safety & Health Expo is really important to the health and safety industry because it’s the biggest exhibition in the UK, and it’s the biggest annual exhibition in Europe so it is the hot spot for the industry and that’s why everybody comes here.” “Safety & Health Expo is our biggest show of the year and there’s a significant spend from us on the show because we know this is the most value we are going to get out of the year from our marketing budget.” “Safety & Health Expo is important for our marketing campaign. It’s a key part of the year for us – we’re able to launch new products, we’re able to get lots of key decision makers here in one place at one time.” “The show has been a really great success for us. A lot of people around, very good quality leads…we are really pleased.” “It’s been very positive indeed. The show’s been full of good quality visitors and the right decision makers seem to have been here.” “Safety & Health Expo has been a great show this year – we’ve had some great people to the stand, it’s been a great networking event and we’ve got lots of sales leads to take away, grow and it’s definitely worth attending.” Safety & Health Expo returns to the NEC Birmingham from 17-19 May 2011.
