New Fire Minister Bob Neill MP to deliver keynote address at Fire & Rescue 2010Fire & Rescue 2010 will be the platform for one of Bob Neill MP’s first addresses as Fire Minister. Having been appointed on 21st May, Bob Neill MP, current Conservative member for Bromley and Chislehurst and former leader of the London Fire and Civil Defence Authority in the 1980s, will deliver a keynote address to lay out his plans for taking the industry forward. Delegates of the Conference – Leading a Lean and Effective Fire & Rescue Service – will benefit from topical content focusing on three main themes: dealing with the financial climate and change; the built environment; and environmental mitigation and adaptation. Fire & Rescue 2010 promises to be an unmissable event for all fire and rescue professionals. Taking place at the Harrogate International Centre from 29 – 30 June 2010, the event is hosted in partnership with the Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA), the Fire Protection Association (FPA) and the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
